Pocket Storms Productions is Chris Cipriano, Matt Ferrin, James P. Gannon and Joseph K. Gannon. All four were born and raised in Bucks County, Pennsylvania but their creative aspirations eventually lead each of them to Brooklyn, NY where they all currently reside. After many years of being friends and working together on several film projects they officially formed Pocket Storms in 2012. 

Pocket Storms has produced seven short films so far: The Christmas Light Killer, directed by James P. Gannon, was a Vimeo Staff Pick and was featured on Short of the Week, Unkraut, directed by all of us, was featured on Film Shortage,  Ovalteen, directed by Joseph K. Gannon, Smoke Bomb Boys, directed by James P. Gannon, premiered on NoBudge and was a selection of the Southside and Athens Film Festivals, Russell Curtis, directed by James P. Gannon was featured on Geek Tyrant, and was a selection in both the Young Cuts Film Festival and the Greenpoint Film Festival and also won the audience choice award at Fluxfest. Crossbow, directed by James P. Gannon and was a selection in Southside Film Festival and Terrapin, directed by Matt Ferrin and was a selection in the Philip. K. Dick Film Festival.

Prior to the official forming of Pocket Storms, James’ short film Cochran screened at many festivals, including SXSW. James and Joseph's short documentary, Three Envelopes, was featured on upworthy.com and received 20k+ views in one day.
